Giant replica of 1666 London set ablaze for 350th anniversary of the Great Fire

Hundreds of people watched as a huge wooden replica of Victorian London was burned on 4 September for the 350th anniversary of The Great Fire of London. The sculpture, created by David Best famous for his immense wooden temples, and creativity agency Artichoke, was part of the Londons burning festival held from 30 August to 4 September. Sep 5, 2016

Rescue Crews Help 123 People on Crowded Inflatable Boat in Mediterranean

Over 120 people were found floating in an overcrowded inflatable boat off Libya on Sunday 4 September by rescue workers from the European Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS). G20 summit: Chinese official rows with Obamas national security adviser on tarmac

US President Barack Obamas national security adviser Susan Rice was confronted by a Chinese official at Hangzhou airport, causing US Secret Service to intervene following the incident.According to a Reuters report, soon after Obamas Air Force One grounded in Hangzhou, a Chinese official tried to stop Rice from walking towards the official car meant for the US president. Uzbekistan President Islam Karimov Dies

Uzbekistans leader President Karimov has reportedly died after suffering a stroke on Saturday (27 August). Three diplomatic sources told Reuters on Friday that the 78-year-old leader had died however the Uzbek government did not immediately confirm the reports. Karimov leaves no obvious successor. Video supposedly shows Samsung Galaxy Note 7 after explosion

A video posted to Ariel Gonzalaezs YouTube channel on 29 August supposedly shows a new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 after it caught fire whilst charging. Samsung have halted global sales and recalled the Note 7 as at least 35 cases of the battery catching fire have been reported.
