Bobby to direct Pawan's Gabbar Singh 2

Director Bobby who directed Power is on a high! He will now direct Gabbar Singh Part 2 which stars Pawan Kalyan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The movie is the original remake of Hindi hit movie Dabangg 2 starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. The Telugu version was suppose to go on the floors before months, but Pawan Kalyan's involvement in politics has kept the sequel delayed. Gabbar Singh, is the milestone flick in Pawan Kalyan's career which made good collections at the box office, in 2012. The latest buzz about the Part 2 of the movie claims that, Power fame Bobby will direct the movie. Earlier, director Sampath Nandi was assigned for the project, but he is now out of it. Bobby who has already received good appreciations for his recent flick Power movie strarring Ravi Teja, will now take up the offer to direct Gabbar Singh 2 of Pawan Kalyan, the top actor of Tollywood. Pawan Kalyan is currently working for Gopala Gopala, a multi-starrer movie which also stars Victory Venkatesh. We hope the much awaited Gabbar Singh 2 will go on floors soon. Oct 30, 2014

Srinagar, Oct 30 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Yasin Malik's supporters protested against their leader's arrest on Thursday. Malik was reportedly leading a campaign to boycott assembly elections scheduled to be held in Jammu and Kashmir next month, for which he was taken into preventive custody today.The supporters even pelted stones at the police in the city's Maisuma area, after which the police resorted to firing of tear gas shells and a baton charge to disperse the mob.Malik was previously arrested earlier this month, ahead of Eid prayers at Abi Guzar near Lal Chowk while he was preparing to hold an anti-election protest. Mumbai/ New Delhi/ Kolkata, Oct 30 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday said it was not concerned about any party's support to them while forming government in Maharashtra as its former ally warns it to form alliance with any other party. New Delhi, Oct 30 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday lauded Bollywood mega star Amitabh Bachchan among others for participating in his pet project 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'. Modi took to twitter to appreciate the efforts of leading citizens for giving a boss to the Clean India Campaign. He twitted saying, "Who won't get inspired when @SrBachchan himself wields the broom and joins Swachh Bharat Mission! Very significant effort." The prime minister also retweeted Bachchan's tweets. Prime Minister Modi also lauded 35-year-old Laila Shah who wielded broom in the streets of violence-hit Trilokpuri area in Delhi. Birbhum, Oct 30 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders led by Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi were detained on Thursday for defying prohibitory orders in Birbhum District. West Bengal Police later took all BJP leaders, including Kirti Azad in buses to ensure that no untoward incident takes place. Rajouri, Oct 30 (ANI): People continue to live in makeshift tents and are demanding compensation from the government, a month after the worst floods in a century hit Jammu and Kashmir. A resident, Mohammad Kabir, said they were concerned about their safety, especially children, as winters were approaching. Kabir said the government should take immediate measures to rebuild their houses and ensure regular water and power supply. The victims also complained that the government was not paying any heed to their losses and not issuing compensation for the same. Delhi/ Lucknow, Oct 30 (ANI): Condemning reactions flowed on Thursday over the improper reply given by Uttar Pradesh Police to an RTI filed questioning the reasons for increasing rapes in the state. The police had replied to the RTI saying that improper dressing of women, use of mobiles and internet is responsible for increasing crimes against women.
