Concerned dept began work, process time consuming: SIT on Black Money

New Delhi, Oct 30 (ANI): The member of SIT on Black Money, Arijit Pasayat said that the concerned department has begun working and it has now reached the stage of investigation. He said that the investigation involves Income Tax department and added that the report will be submitted by the date given by Supreme Court. Pasayat stated that the process is a time consuming one and the committee will try to do it as soon as possible. Meanwhile the Director of Ahmedabad Meteorological Department, Manorama Mohanty said that the cyclone is expected to make landfall followed by heavy rainfall for the next 48 hours in the coastal areas of Gujarat. Latehar/ Odisha, Oct 30 (ANI): Police arrested two Maoists with ammunition in Latehar district of Jharkhand. Latehar's Superintendent of Police, Michael Raj S, said they attained major success by arresting two notorious Maoists who were involved in several violent activities since 2011. Michael added the arrested Maoists were involved in activities including firing at police, planning a bomb blast on National Highway 75 and others. Meanwhile, a farmer-turned-Maoist activist who surrendered before the police in Odisha on Tuesday (October 28) was produced before the court. Nachika Linga, the chief of a Maoist-backed organisation, remained underground for over four years evading a non-bailable warrant against him. Kochi, Oct 30 (ANI): A group of youngsters will organise a non-violent protest 'Kiss of Love' in Kerala on November 02 to protest against the moral policing and express freedom of love. The campaign was initiated in the wake of an attack on a coffee shop by youth wing activists of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Last week, Congress party owned Jaihind TV had aired a show alleging immoral activities at a cafe called Downtown in Kozhikode city. Within hours, it was attacked by workers of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the youth wing of BJP. However, the Kerala police have denied the permission to protesters to hold the event in the port of Kochi. Young protesters were then seen holding posters reading 'Stop Moral Policing' to publicise the drive even as the members of local moral policing team were present at the venue trying to scare the youngsters by shouting at them.
