Heavy rainfall swamped the streets in Gujarat

Junagarh, Sep 26 (ANI): Heavy rainfall in Junagadh district of Gujarat swamped the streets and created a flood like situation which has brought the life to standstill for the residents of the area. Rain continued to lash the entire state resulting in the rise of water levels of rivers and overflowing of dams and forced the officials to get the area evacuated from of low lying areas across the state. Alok Kumar Pandey the collector of the district had assured that all precautionary measures have already been taken to ensure the safety of the people.

A fierce gun battle is on between the militants and the army personnel in Samba. All the injured have suffered critical splinter and bullet injuries.
