NIA to probe Patna blasts case

New Delhi, Oct 30 (ANI): Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde informed on Wednesday that the request of the Bihar government to transfer Patna blasts case to the National Investigation Agency has been accepted. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who is in the national capital said that investigation is going on in the case but since the state authorities do not have proper database regarding the terror activities by terrorists, they have requested the NIA to investigate the matter. Sanjay Dutt, was released from jail on furlough for 14 days on October 1. Later, he sought an extension which was granted to him for another fortnight. Accordingly, this year, Dutt will spend the Diwali festival in the jail with other inmates.
