Fresh Muzaffarnagar violence: cases against 15, eight arrested

Lucknow, Oct 31 (ANI): Even as at least four people were killed in two separate incidents of violence in Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh ADG (Law and Order) Mukul Goel said that 15 people have been accused for this incident out of which 8 have been arrested. Three men were killed as mobs from Hussain Kalan village and neighbouring Mohammadpur village clashed on Mohammadpur Road, about 35 km from Muzaffarnagar, while in a separate clash one woman was killed. Reports suggest that a woman was killed when she along with her husband was attacked by a mob. The woman was killed on the spot, however her husband survived and is admitted in a Meerut hospital. Both the incidents took place in the Budhana area which falls in rural Muzzaffarnagar. Oct 31, 2013
