Varanasi, April 15 (ANI): AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday met Varanasi 'Shahar Qazi' Maulana Ghulam Yasin after he arrived in the temple city. Kejriwal said that he met the Muslim cleric in order to put an end to the religious politics wherein political parties divide the religions in order to garner votes for their vested interest. Meanwhile, Maulana Ghulam Yasin said that Kejriwal came to give a message of justice where all religions are considered equal. SC recognizes transgenders as third gender

New Delhi, April 15 (ANI): The Supreme court on Tuesday recognized transgenders as the ‘third gender’. The SC also directed the Centre and state governments to treat them as socially and economically backward classes, and also to provide reservation in jobs and education and provide medical facilities to transgenders.
