Haryana govt plane catches fire, landed on emergency

Chandigarh, March 27 (ANI): Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia had a miraculous escape on Thursday when his plane caught fire at the Chandigarh airport, said officials. Pahadia was immediately taken out of the aircraft and sent to PGI hospital for check up. Declared safe and not harmed, he was safely sent back to the Governor House. The plane was thereafter landed on the Chandigarh airport on emergency basis.

SC demands Gavaskar to be BCCI interim president & Srinivasan removed

New Delhi, March 27 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Thursday proposed the name of Sunil Gavaskar as interim BCCI President replacing N Srinivasan till it gives the final verdict in the IPL Spot-fixing case. The SC also said that Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will not be part of the upcoming IPL 7 and that any person involved with India Cements should alos be refrained from functioning in the BCCI. Two suspected terrorists planning to target Modi arrested in UP
