LoC violations an issue of both diplomacy, military ties: Khurshid

New Delhi, Oct 19 (ANI): Reacting to the frequent ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC), External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid on Saturday said it is not just an issue of diplomacy, but an issue of military relations, and added that the ground situation is known to the military of both sides. Earlier on Friday, Pakistani soldiers opened fire at Border Security Force (BSF) posts at 25 different locations in Jammu and Samba districts. According to reports, two BSF personnel were injured and one infiltrator was killed in the firing as the Indian Army foiled multiple infiltrations bids through the night.

Surat, Oct 19 (ANI): A lawyer representing self-styled godman Asaram Bapu's son Narayan Sai, has claimed that all papers produced before the court for the granting of anticipatory bail are legitimate, and has flayed allegations that they have been forged. Narayan Sai has been accused of raping women and young girls at his father's hermitage in Surat. Two sisters had filed a complaint against him and his father. The elder of the two sisters has alleged that she was raped by Asaram at his Ahmedabad hermitage, whereas the younger sister has accused Narayan Sai of raping her in Surat.

Lok Sabha Speaker rejects resignation of 13 Andhra MP's

New Delhi, Oct 19 (ANI): The resignation of 13 MP's from Andhra Pradesh has been rejected by the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar. The Speaker did not find the resignations in the proper format. The Lok Sabha release said that Constitutional provisions and rules of procedure and conduct of business in Lok Sabha stipulate that resignation should be in a proper format and a member doing so shall not give any reason for the resignation.
