Narendra Modi to meet families of Patna blast victims today

Patna, Nov 02 (ANI): Elaborate security arrangements have been made for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's visit to Bihar during which he will meet the families of the six people killed in serial blasts ahead of his massive 'Hunkar' rally in Patna on October 27. Over 1,000 Special Task Force jawans and around 100 inspector rank officers will be present at the places where Modi is scheduled to visit today. Besides this, a huge contingent of Black Cat Commandos of the National Security Guard (NSG) is also guarding Modi. The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has put Bihar maximum Alert in view of Modi's visit.

Lata Mangeshkar wants Narendra Modi to become Prime Minister

Pune, Nov 02 (ANI): Veteran Indian singer, Lata Mangeshkar said that she wished to see Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister of the country. Modi, the challenger from BJP, is campaigning to oust the ruling Congress-led coalition. The Gujarat strongman was in Pune, to inaugurate a hospital named after Mangeshkar’s father, Dinanath Mangeshkar. The octogenarian singer, who has also been dubbed as the nightingale of India said that the people of the country are waiting to see Modi become Prime Minister.

Family blames govt for kins death in Patna serial blasts

Gopalganj, Nov 02 (ANI): Family members of a deceased, who was killed in the recent blasts in the Patna, blamed government for not providing adequate medical facilities at the venue. At least six explosions in and around BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's rally venue killed five people and injured 83 on Sunday (October 27). The bombs exploded in quick succession near a crowd of tens of thousands of people waiting to hear Narendra Modi’s speech. Friend of the deceased Munna Shrivastava and also an eyewitness to the incident, Ranjit said that there were no proper facilities available at the bomb blast site due to which his friend lost his life.

People who lost their lives in patna blast should be given honour of a martyr: BJP

New Delhi, Nov 02 (ANI): As BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will visit Bihar during which he will meet the families of the six people killed in serial blasts ahead of his 'Hunkar' rally in Patna on October 27, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Patna blasts was a terrorist act and the one who lost their lives in the incident, should be given the honour of a martyr.

BSF organizes Diwali fair

Siliguri/Coimbatore, Nov 02 (ANI): A Diwali fair was organised by the Border Security Force (BSF) 66 Battalion North Bengal Frontier at its headquarter Kadamtala in West Bengal to mark the beginning of festivities of the Hindu festival of lights. The fair was being o rganised with an aim of providing mental relaxation and entertainment to the troops and their families. Apart from different types of food stalls, the fair also had various games, cultural dance performances and a fashion show to attract and entertain a huge number of crowd. Meanwhile, in an effort to create communal harmony, people in Coimbatore also gathered to celebrate Diwali as they lit lamps at a temple and shared sweets with each other.

Patna, Nov 02 (ANI): As BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will visit Bihar during which he will meet the families of the six people killed in serial blasts ahead of his 'Hunkar' rally in Patna on October 27, BJP leader Giriraj Singh said that there was insufficient security provided for Narendra Modi yesterday and security protocols were not followed today.
