Politicos react on recovery of over 5000 liquor bottles from AAP candidate's residence in EC raid

New Delhi, Jan 31 (ANI): Political leaders on Saturday reacted as Election Commission officials recovered over 5000 liquor bottles from residence of AAP Candidate Naresh Balyan in a raid. BJP leader Ashwani Upadhyay said that the real face of AAP is coming out. Party leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that AAP represents everything which is wrong in politics. He said that if AAP has any moral left in them, they should apologise and also expel the leader accused. Congress leader JP Aggarwal said that the Election Commission should take strict action against the AAP. New Delhi, Jan 31 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Saturday after Aam Aadmi Party released its manifesto for the upcoming Delhi polls, unleashing a slew of promises, including the passing of the Jan Lokpal Bill, enhanced security for women and full statehood for the national capital. BJP leader Shaina NC said that this is the absolute mockery of manifesto. BJP leader MJ Akbar said that Delhi voters are sensible and that they know the difference between truth and fraud. The party also reiterated its plans of making Delhi a free Wi-Fi city, installing CCTV cameras in public transport as well as special reservations for senior citizens and the youth. He also pointed out that only AAP has the political will to lower the prices of electricity. Pakistan, Jan 31 (ANI): At least 60 people have been killed and 60 others injured in a blast inside a Pakistani mosque in Shikarpur district of Sindh province on Friday. Anxious relatives were seen beating their heads in grief as dozens of victims were taken for treatment, many with severe wounds. The explosion ripped through a crowded Shi'ite mosque in Shikarpur, a dusty town in the southern Sindh province. Attacks against religious minority groups have been on the rise in Pakistan, where radical Sunni Islamist groups often target mosques frequented by Shi'ites, whom they see as infidels. New Delhi, Jan 31 (ANI): Agni-V, India's longest range ballistic missile was on Saturday successfully test-fired from a canister on the Wheeler Island off the coast of Odisha. Developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), this is the missile's third launch. However, it is the first from a canister, a method that allows the missile to be fired even from roads. The missile can carry a 1.1-tonne nuclear warhead over 5,000 km. New Delhi, Jan 31 (ANI): The Election Commission officials raided the residence of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Candidate Naresh Balyan in Delhi and recovered thousands of liquor bottles. Over 5,000 liquor bottles were recovered from Balyan's residence and an FIR has been lodged against him for violating Model Code of Conduct. Balyan is contesting upcoming Delhi Assembly polls from Uttam Nagar and the incident tarnishes the party's image for the polls scheduled for February 7. Meanwhile, Balyan has claimed that the liquor seized by EC is the property of a BJP worker and that the party is trying to put false allegations on him. Jan 31, 2015

West Bengal, Jan 31 (ANI): The body of former Gorkha soldier Subash Ghising, who ignited Gorkhaland fire in Darjeeling in West Bengal in the eighties, has been flown to Bagdogra airport and would be taken to his village for last rites. Ghising, 79, died at a government hospital in New Delhi. He is survived by his son. A large crowd of his supporters gathered at Bagdogra airport when his body was brought from New Delhi in a plane.
