Odisha, Jan 30 (ANI): People are thronging the annual tribal fair in Bhubaneswar city of Odisha to get a glimpse of the tribal culture and a taste of the tribal delicacies. The tribal fair was inaugurated on Monday by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. It has been organised by the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Research and Training Institute (SCSTRI) and will go on till February 09. The fair has been divided into various sections like a tribal village, market, food plaza and craft pavilion. Not only the visitors, the tribals participating in the fair are also pleased at this opportunity as they feel it provides them with a bigger market to sell their goods. The organisers expect the footfall at the fair to touch a million and make transactions worth rupees 30 million this year. Jan 30, 2015

Jaipur/Vadodara, Jan 30 (ANI): Vintage car owners and collectors converged in Jaipur and Vadodara for car rallies, enthralling visitors. The 17th annual vintage car rally drew spectators to Jaipur to get a glimpse of royal era. More than 100 vintage pieces were displayed for the car lovers. Meanwhile, crowds also attended a similar rally in Vadodara city, where around 56 vintage cars were on display. The rally was a part of four-day ‘Vadfest’, an art and cultural event in the city. New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): Former UPA minister and senior Congress leader Jayanthi Natarajan on Friday resigned from the party alleging that Rahul Gandhi interfered in the working of the ministry. Condemning the statement, Congress leaders Digvijaya Singh and Shobha Oza said that the party leadership, be it Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi, never interfered in the decision making of the ministries. Hyderabad, Jan 30 (ANI): Police rescued at least 48 child labourers from bangle factories in Hyderabad. The children were rescued after police carried out multiple raids across the city. Most of them belonged to Bihar state. The police have been carrying out raids as part of their 'Smile' programme to rescue minor children working in hazardous conditions. Hyderabad Police circle officer, N Rama Rao said they have booked a case against the owners and efforts are on to nab the culprits. Some children said they were forced to abandon their studies and work in factories with either no pay or little pay.
