Tokyo, Sep 02 (ANI): Japan's experience with the Great Earthquake and the Sarin gas attack in Tokyo subway by terrorists has prompted the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to undertake a range of disaster prevention and management measures. In 2003, the Bureau of Social Welfare of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government formed the Tokyo DMAT - Disaster Medical Assistance Teams-to deal with any crisis. The DMAT teams specializes in on-site rapid response medical assistance to the disaster victims and are equipped with medical doctors with portable medical kit to provide on-the spot emergency medical treatment, before transporting victims to hospitals. BJP and Congress condemn killing of RSS leader in Kerala

New Delhi, Sep 02 (ANI): Political leaders condemned the murder of RSS leader E Manoj in Kerala. The party alleged that members of Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) killed the RSS leader. RSS leader Manoj was hacked to death on Monday even as president of BJP began his two-day visit in the state to expand his party base. Both RSS and BJP alleged that the CPI (M) members were behind this assassination and called for a dawn-to-dusk state strike on Tuesday. BJP Leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the CP (M) should fight the battle in the field on politics and not through violent means.
