Congress hits out at PM Modi over inflation, black money

New Delhi, Sept 2 (ANI): Congress on Tuesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government for failing to curb inflation and solve issue of black money as it completed 100 days in office. Modi was sworn-in as prime minister of India on May 26 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power after it won a whopping 282 out of 543 seats in the Lok Sabha, ousting out the Congress party which had been in power for ten years. Addressing a news conference in New Delhi, a leader of Congress party, Anand Sharma, attacked Modi's BJP and questioned about good days they had promised in their manifestos to people. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 55.35 points up to stand at 8,083.05. COROMANDEL and CIPLA were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 9.91% and 5.23% along with SUZLON and PETRONET with an increase of 4.88% and 4.73% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include BHUSHAN STEEL LTD and JINDAL STEEL with a decrease of 4.98% and 3.48% along with ABB and PEL with a decrease of 2.54% and 2.48% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 29.64 points at 17,551.68 while the banking sector is up 126.82 points at 18,453.30 and the reality sector is up 13.25 points at 1,787.64.
