Women get mad with men even if they annoy them in their dreams!

New Delhi, Nov 16 (ANI): A new study has discovered that 50 percent women stay in a bad mood with their husbands or boyfriends, even if they get annoyed with them in a dream. For the study, which was conducted by a UK hotel chain on 2,000 adults, researchers asked participants about their dreaming habits. The findings showed that women usually dream about their partner being unfaithful, fighting with them and even having a secret child. The study also found that nearly two thirds of the adults stay in a bad mood with anyone who upsets them in a dream. 1 in 20 people even ignored their boss after dreaming of being sacked. Late nights can make you feel sick

New Delhi, Nov 15 (ANI): Jet lag, shift work or any late night might be the reason behind you getting sick, a new study has revealed. That's because the body's internal clock is set for two 12'hour periods of light and darkness, and when this rhythm is thrown off, so is the immune system. According to the new study, one reason might be that the genes that set the body clock are intimately connected to certain immune cells. The study is published online in the journal Science. Sugar intake not directly linked with fatty liver disease

New Delhi, Nov 4 (ANI): A new study has claimed that sugar intake is not directly associated with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, as it was earlier believed. Rather, high-calorie diets promote the progression of this serious form of liver disease. Researchers conducted a double-blind study of healthy, but centrally overweight men to compare the effects of high intakes of two types of sugar, glucose and fructose, in two conditions - weight-maintaining (moderate-calorie diet) and weight-gaining ( high-calorie diet). In the weight-maintaining period, men on neither diet developed any significant changes to the liver. However, in the weight-gaining period, both diets produced equivalent features of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Nov 4, 2013

Most smokers think about kicking the butt on Mondays

New Delhi, Nov 03 (ANI): A new study found that Mondays are when smokers are most likely to think about kicking their habit. Researchers from San Diego State University, the Santa Fe Institute, The Monday Campaigns and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health monitored global Google search query logs from 2008 to 2012 in English, French, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish for searches related to quitting, such as "help quit smoking," to examine weekly patterns in smoking cessation contemplations for the first time. The study found that people search about quitting smoking more often early in the week, with the highest query volumes on Mondays, using a daily measure representing the proportion of quit smoking searches to all searches. Eating too much fish detrimental to health

New Delhi, Nov 3 (ANI): Omega-3 fatty acids, which are normally found in fish, if taken in excess could have unintended health consequences in certain situations, a new study has suggested. Omega-3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties, which is one of the reasons they can be beneficial to heart health and inflammatory issues. However, the researchers said excess amounts of omega-3 fatty acids can alter immune function sometimes in ways that may lead to a dysfunctional immune response to a viral or bacterial infection.
