Drinking caffeinated coffee boosts blood flow

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): A new study has revealed that the caffeine in a cup of coffee might perk up your blood vessels, thereby improving your cardiovascular health. In a study of 27 healthy adults, those who drank a cup of caffeinated coffee had a 30 percent increase in blood flow over a 75-minute period compared to those who drank decaffeinated coffee. "This gives us a clue about how coffee may help improve cardiovascular health," said lead researcher Masato Tsutsui.

Children flee villages to escape joining Guerrilla Maoists in Jharkhand

Lohardaga, Nov 21 (ANI): Innocent villagers in Jharkhand are compelled to leave their homes and flee with their children due to the violent tactics of the Maoists, who constantly threaten to take away young girls and boys with them to join their guerrilla forces. Nearly 130 children fled to cities along with their parents after being forced by Maoists to join them. A young girl, Pinki Kumar, says that they are scared to return to their village as they fear abduction by the Maoists. In order to seek the help of the government and district officials, villagers like Keshwar Nagesia have left their homes along with their children and come to the city to negotiate a provision wherein they can be put in hostels so that they are able to study.

Bangalore Police circulates new ATM guidelines

Bangalore, Nov 21 (ANI): Bangalore Police Commissioner Raghavendra Auradkar on Thursday announced new guidelines fro the ATMs in order to beef up the security system of the same. Congress workers lathicharged in UP for staging protest

Lucknow, Nov 21 (ANI): The police lathicharged the Congress workers outside UP Vidhan Sabha for staging statewide agitation on Tuesday. The Congress workers launched a statewide protest against the ruling Samajwadi Party for failing to implement the Food Security Act in the state. Cyclone Helen to hit coastal southern India: IMD

Vishakhapatnam, Nov 21 (ANI): The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) predicts a severe cyclonic storm in the next 24 hours (November 22) with strong winds, heavy rainfall and big tides already lashing along the coastal Andhra Pradesh. Bangalore to get its first Starbucks outlet

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): Famed coffee retailer, Starbucks will now serve people of India’s IT hub as it announced to open its outlet in Bangalore. Starbucks, which has joint venture with Tata Global Beverages, parent of Tata Coffee will open its store in southern city on November 22. Starbucks opened its first flagship store in Mumbai in 2012. The coffee retailer now runs stores in Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune. The brand aims to have 50 outlets through a tie-up with the Tata group, the country’s biggest manufacturing and trading conglomerate.
