Prime Minister David Cameron said on 18 February, that he expected negotiations with fellow European leaders to be tough but that he would not accept a deal at any price to keep Britain in the EU. Cameron made the comments as he arrived at a crunch summit in Brussels where he will try and achieve concessions on key issues he believes are vital if he is to win an EU membership referendum. CCTV footage at the scene captured a blast that killed at least 28 people and injured 61. A car bomb targeted military vehicles close to government and military buildings in the Turkish capital, Ankara. Watch the rescue of a brave kid dangling from a ski chairlift

A young skier was rescued from Whistler’s Peak Express chairlift on 15 February, after slipping from his seat and dangling 10m above the ground. Zika virus: FDA recommends ban on blood collections from affected areas

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recommended that blood no longer be collected from regions where the Zika virus is circulating, and that blood needed for transfusions be obtained from areas of the United States without active transmission. The agency said blood banks can continue collecting and preparing platelets and plasma if an FDA-approved pathogen-reduction technology is used.
