Kabul, Oct 01 (ANI): Two Taliban suicide bombers attacked the Afghan capital on Wednesday, killing at least seven people and wounding more than 15, government officials said, a day after the new government and the United States signed a long-delayed security agreement. Afghanistan's interior ministry said the targets of were an army bus and a vehicle carrying Afghan army personnel. The attack in the west of the city, close to Kabul university, was the more serious of the two. It destroyed an army bus and shattered shop windows, killing at least seven, the defence ministry said. New Delhi, Oct 1 (ANI): Two speeding passenger trains collided near Gorakhpur, killing 14 people and injuring 45 others late Tuesday night. Union Railway Minister DV Sadananda Gowda, meanwhile, expressed profound grief over the loss of innocent lives in the accident and announced compensation for the victims. Gowda announced an ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the next of kin of those who died in the tragedy, Rs 1 lakh each to those grievously injured and Rs 20,000 each to those who sustained less serious injuries.
