The eight edition of the marathon witnessed thousands of participants giving everything to cross the finish line, with the Chairman of Indian software services exporter, Wipro, Azim Premji watching. Suicide attack at Pakistan church kills 40

Peshawar, Sept 22 (ANI): A pair of suicide bombers blew themselves up outside a church on Sunday in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, killing 40 people after mass. Police said that the death toll included at least four children, two policemen and six women and was likely to rise. Seventy others were wounded in the attack which occurred in a densely populated area near a market. A bomb disposal security source said there were two explosions carried out by a pair of attackers. More than 600 parishioners were inside the church for the service. Some residents took to the streets immediately after the attack to protest against the violence. Sep 22, 2013
