After Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid’s ‘impotent’ remark on BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan hit back at the Congress by targeting its vice-president Rahul Gandhi calling him a hair of a tail. He added that Modi is a hair of moustache. New Delhi, Feb 27 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed the release of four convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case. The court court issued a notice to Tamil Nadu government and the four prisoners on the Centre's plea against their release. Earlier, an apex court bench headed by Justice P Sathasivam directed that the central government's plea would be heard on March 6. Kashmir: Soldier shoots dead 5 colleagues, kills self

Ganderbal, Feb 27 (ANI): An army jawan of 13 Rashtriya Rifles shot dead five of his colleagues at point blank range when they were sleeping and killed himself in Kashmir's Ganderbal district Thursday morning, said army official. The deaths of the jawans took place inside the army camp of 13 Rashtriya Rifles at Safapora. An army court of inquiry will investigate the deaths. According to sources, the soldier, who was posted on sentry duty at the camp, entered one of the barracks at around 2:00am and opened indiscriminate firing on his sleeping colleagues. Feb 27, 2014

Navy chief resigns after INS Sindhuratna mishap, politicos welcome move

New Delhi, Feb 27 (ANI): Political leaders welcomed Navy Chief Admiral DK Joshi’s decision to resign from the post following the INS Sindhuratna mishap.
