Election Commission will ensure that Delhi polls take place efficiently: HS Brahma

Noida, Jan 23 (ANI): Chief Election Commissioner of India HS Brahma on Friday said that the poll panel will ensure that assembly elections in Delhi take place efficiently. He said that the campaigning is going on and that the panel will ensure that all voters come and vote comfortably, and that all the doubt and grievances of the voters will be solved. Brahma also talked about security arrangements in and around the polling booth. He also announced the helpline number 1950 and asked the voters to clear their doubts on the same. Further, talking about the notice issued to AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal, Brahma said that there is a way of expressing and it differs from person to person. Varanasi, Jan 23 (ANI): Weavers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's constituency were busy making traditional attire 'sarees' for US first lady Michelle Obama, who would accompany President Barack Obama on his India visit. Two killed, at least 14 injured in Bomb explosion at Arrah civil court in Bihar

Arrah, Jan 23 (ANI): Two persons, including a woman, have been killed in a bomb explosion in a civil court in Arrah district of Bihar on Friday. The police said a woman was carrying the bomb and was killed when it exploded. A policeman also died. At least 14 people have been injured. The deceased was yet to be identified as more details about the incident are awaited. There is a nationwide security alert ahead of US President Barack Obama's visit to India which begins on Sunday.
