New Delhi, Feb 21 (ANI): Political leaders on Saturday reacted over ‘document leak’ from the Petroleum Ministry after which seven people have been arrested and investigation is going on. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that complete investigation shall be done and culprits won’t be spared. BJP leader Sambit Patra said that cheating was going on since long in the ministry but the previous government did not pay heed to it. Congress leader Manish Tewari said that this ‘corporate espionage’ should have been uncovered earlier. PM Modi attends 'Tilak' Ceremony of Mulayam Singh Yadav's Grand-Nephew

Saifai, Feb 21 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday attended the pre-wedding ceremony or Tilak of Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandnephew Tej Pratap Yadav in Saifai village. Tej Pratap is marrying Raj Lakshmi, the youngest daughter of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad. A staggering 100,000 invites have been sent out for the ceremony. Tej Pratap Singh Yadav is a Lok Sabha member from Mainpuri. Saifai village, some 25 km from Etawah, is buzzing with frantic activity for the ceremony. Delicacies like bedai, baati-chokha and halwa soaked in desi ghee would be served. According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan has also confirmed his presence. Veteran CPI leader Govind Pansare passes away

Mumbai, Feb 21 (ANI): Veteran Communist leader Govind Pansare (84) who was shot last Monday in Kolhapur died at Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai. Pansare who had suffered a head injury succumbed to his illness shortly around midnight. Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis reached Breach Candy hospital. Govind Pansare was flown to Mumbai from Kolhapur where he was being treated at a private hospital on Friday in air ambulance. The mortal remains of the CPI leader are brought to the airport following his demise and will be flown top Kolhapur for last rites. Burari Police in Delhi lathicharge AAP workers, files FIR against two MLAs

New Delhi, Feb 21 (ANI): Police have filed FIR against two AAP MLAs - Sanjiv Jha from Burari and Akhilesh Tripathi from Model Town – for inciting a mob to attack police station in Burari late night. Police resorted to baton charge on AAP workers after supporters of Jha gathered outside the police station. The incident took place at around 11 PM when security guards at the Burari police station stopped Jha's vehicle from entering the premises of police station. According to Jha, some people in Burari molested two kids but the police didn't register any case against the accused. Police has so far arrested seven persons in connection with the case. Doda/ Jaipur, Feb 21 (ANI): A suspected case of swine flu has been reported in Jammu and Kashmir. This comes after two people in the state lost their lives on Wednesday (February 18) due to the deadly H1N1 virus. A 13-year-old girl, suspected to be infected with the virus, is undergoing treatment in Doda district of Jammu. To check the spread of swine flu, Mir added, rapid response teams and separate wards for suspected patients were set up in district hospitals. Porbandar, Feb 21 (ANI): A team of delegates from the coastal city of Porbandar in Gujarat left for Pakistan to get back 57 boats belonging to Indian fishermen after the country's government decided to release them. Pakistan and India routinely detain boats and fishermen for entering each other's waters for fishing. They mistakenly enter other's waters as there is no demarcation of maritime boundaries. A team member going to Pakistan, Arvind Panjari said that the team was making all efforts to get back the boats as soon as possible. Meanwhile, a boat owner, Anil Motiwars said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fulfilled his promise of getting them their livelihoods back. Houseboat owners in Kashmir carry out repair work before onset of tourist season

Srinagar, Feb 21 (ANI): With winters slowly fading away, houseboat owners in Jammu and Kashmir have begun coring of boats ahead of the tourist season. Houseboats are the identity of the world famous Dal Lake attracting tourists from across the world every year. Houseboat owners have called in carpenters who are specialised in repairing boats by using the 'coring' technique. A houseboat owner Taseen Ahmad said they undertake the coring exercise every two years to keep boats in good shape. The coring experts charge rupees 1,000 a day. Coring of boats includes filling of gaps on the floor of the boat with special grass and repairing the damaged portion with expensive timber of the valley known as "deodar".
