New Delhi, Feb 21 (ANI): Reacting over former journalist Santanu Saikia's allegations in Corporate Espionage Case, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday ruled out any suggestion that the authorities were covering up matters, and said Saikia was only trying to save his own skin. Saikia, who was arrested by the Delhi Police yesterday in connection with the alleged leak of confidential documents from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) to private oil companies, today created a sensation by claiming that it was a Rs 10,000 crore scam and that he was just covering it. Kashmir valley remained cut off from the rest of the country due to heavy rains, accompanied by snowfall and landslides. Normal life was paralyzed in the state's winter capital Jammu. Residents were angry as the local administration was providing little help to the marooned people.
