Police bust fake currency and drug racket in Kashmir

Poonch, March 01 (ANI): Police busted a drug and fake currency racket in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the sub divisional police officer, Mendhar, Surinder Kumar Chowdhary, police were getting inputs about circulation of fake currency. Several check-points were set up to inspect passers-by. Chowdhary said police found five suspicious men sitting in an SUV as they did not respond to police queries properly. Police recovered rupees 1,26,000 of fake currency and 1,100 grams of heroin. Their interrogation led to the arrest of one more person. Police are on the look-out for their accomplices. Jammu, March 01 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir's cabinet ministers were administered oath on Sunday by JandK Governor NN Vohra at Zorawar Singh Auditorium in Jammu University. Thirteeen MLAs of PDP and twelve MLAs of BJP took oath after Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was sworn in as the 12th Chief Minister of JandK with support from the BJP.
