BSE closes points 97.64 up on March 2

New Delhi, March 2 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 97.64 points up to stand at 29,459.14. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 54.90 points up to stand at 8,956.75. NCC and JK LAKSHMI were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 17.47% and 14.77% along with SRE INFRA and HCC with an increase of 14.18% and 10.41% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include MUTHOOT FINANCE LTD. and GMR INFRA with a decrease of 7.08% and 5.60% along with ITC and BAJAJ-AUTO with a decrease of 4.97% and 4.03% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 78.50 points at 19,924.95 while the banking sector is up 408.75 points at 22,981.72 and the reality sector is down at 5.38 points at 1,816.54. New Delhi, March 2 (ANI): A new study shows that an individual's breakfast habits play a vital role in gradually increasing the protein intake in the morning. The study found that the metabolic responses to eating a high-protein breakfast were different from breakfast skippers than to who daily have their morning meal. The researchers explained that the habitual breakfast skippers experienced poorer glucose control throughout the day when they consumed a high-protein breakfast, whereas those who typically ate a high-carbohydrate breakfast had improved glucose control after they ate a high-protein breakfast. Researchers said that habitual breakfast skippers faces increased inability to metabolize a large quantity of protein, but once they start-eating breakfast, they should gradually transit to a breakfast with more protein and will have improved glycemic control. People revel in Holi celebrations in Uttar Pradesh

Mathura/ Varanasi, Mar 02 (ANI): Daubed in colours, people celebrated festival of colours, 'Holi', with pageantry in Uttar Pradesh. People threw powered colours and sprayed coloured water on each other while celebrating 'Lathmar Holi' in Uttar Pradesh. As per traditions, women beat men with sticks while celebrating the festival. Devotees thronged Mathura city, birthplace of Hindu Lord Krishna, to revel in celebrations. Lord Krishna is believed to have come to the earth to destroy an evil king called Kansa, who was his maternal uncle, and ruled some parts of northern India. Holi will be celebrated on March 06 however people of Mathura city mark the festival for eight days. In a special programme, performers were dressed as Lord Krishna and consort Radha. Meanwhile, spirits were high in holy city of Varanasi too as devotees celebrated Holi with colours, sweets and bhang (cannabis).
