Isle of Wight pub installs helipad to attract new customers

A couple who run a popular pub on the Isle of Wight have come up with a novel way of drumming up new customers – by installing their own helipad. Sam and Donna Shaw, who run The Fighting Cocks in Hale Common, created the helipad in a field close to their premises using a lawnmower in the hope that pilots flying over the island will land in for a tipple or two.
