EAM holds diplomatic dialogue with Myanmar Deputy Foreign Minister in New Delhi

New Delhi, July 23 (ANI): External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, held foreign office consultation with Myanmar Deputy Foreign Minister, U Thant Kyaw, in New Delhi on Wednesday. The two ministers and delegates from both the sides met to review and discuss bilateral relations and conduct talks on issues of mutual interest. Sharing a border of over 1600 kilometres and a maritime boundary in the Bay of Bengal, India and Myanmar have signed a number of agreements to enhance diplomatic ties.

Army pays homage to soldier martyred in cross border firing in Jammu

Basketball player on being forced to remove turbans during Basketball Asia Cup

Chennai, July 23 (ANI): Indian Basketball players Amrit Pal Singh and Amjyot Singh had to play Asian Basketball Championship in China without their turbans as match officials informed the players that they were violating International Basketball federation rules and can't play with the turbans. Reacting over this, Amjyot Singh on Wednesday said that he has played in many tournaments before but he has never been asked to remove his turban.

Markandey Katju clarifies not raising the corrupt judge issue earlier

New Delhi, July 23 (ANI): Justice (Retd) Markandey Katju on Wednesday clarified why he did not raise the issue of corrupt judge made permanent by UPA government fearing withdrawal of support by TN ally. Police denies receiving complaints from Maharashtra Sadan

New Delhi, July 23 (ANI): New Delhi ACP SBS Tyagi on Wednesday denied receiving any complaints from Maharashtra Sadan regarding improper basic facilities. MoU signed to boost up power capacity without additional fuel consumption in north-east

Agartala, July 23 (ANI): India’s North East Power Corporation (NEEPCO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tripura State Electricity Corporation Ltd (TSECL) to upgrade three power projects in Tripura. Two power projects – Baramura gas thermal power project and Rukhia gas thermal power plant – will be converted into combined cycle in order to raise power capacity without increasing the fuel consumption. The other Dumbur hydro power project will undergo renovation to increase its power generation capacity. Chairman-cum-managing Director of NEEPCO, PC Pankaj, said this MoU will prove very beneficial as more power will be generated without increasing the tariff. The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister of Tripura, Manik Sarkar. The cost will be borne by both NEEPCO and TSECL.

New Delhi, July 23 (ANI): Paris Hilton has revealed that she will never be able to "fully trust any man again" after her sex tape with Rick Salomon was released in 2004. She said that she was devastated when the sex tape was leaked because she had been with Salomon for a few years before the incident and added that it was the "most hurtful and awful thing" that could happen to her, a leading daily reported. She also claimed that she wasn't behind the sex tape going public just before the launch of her own reality show with Nicole Richie , 'The Simple Life', and further added that it wasn't her fault as she was very young at that time.

The biography has been prepared by Dr. A Saibaba Goud, for the benefit of the visually challenged. Dr. Goud also runs the Devnar School for the Blind, in Hyderabad. Moong Dal payasam

Moong Dal payasam Ingredients Moong Dal - 100 gm Jaggery - 100 gm Condensed Milk - 1 cup Fresh grated Coconut - 1 cup Ghee - 1 tsp A few Cardamom pods Method: 1. Slightly roast the Moong dal for about 2 minutes. 2. Now rinse the moong dal, add water and let it boil. 3. Another side, melt jaggery but adding some water to it, 4. After the moong dal is cooked, add melted jaggery, cardamon powder, ghee, Condensed Milk & mix it. 5. Finally add fresh grated coconut in it. 6. Your Moong Dal payasam is all ready to be served. Garnish it with few strands of Saffron. You can either serve it hot or cold.
