AAP delegation meets LG over horse trading by BJP, request to review letter to President

New Delhi, Sep 10 (ANI): A delegation of AAP leaders on Wednesday met the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Najeeb Jung over the issue of horse-trading by BJP caught on camera. AAP leader Manish Sisodia said that in a previous meeting with the LG, he had asked them to conduct a sting on the BJP leaders who try to horse-trade AAP MLAs, which AAP produced this time to the LG. He added that AAP has also asked the LG to review his letter to the President in which he sought permission from him to allow BJP to form a government in Delhi. Sep 10, 2014

Health Ministers of S East Asian countries meet in Dhaka to focus on vector borne diseases

Dhaka, Sep 10 (ANI): The Health Ministers of 11 South East Asian countries met in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka for a four-day meeting on various health issues pertaining to the region with special focus on vector-borne diseases. The 32nd meeting of the Ministers of Health of World Health Organisation South-East Asia Region (WHO-SEAR) and the 67th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia started on Wednesday. Margaret Chan, Director General of World Health Organization (WHO) said that the meeting was special as the focus this year was on vector-borne diseases. Meanwhile, India's Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, addressing the gathering said that he was happy that traditional medicine was being discussed by the committee. He also said that he was happy that an agreement was being signed between India and Bangladesh in this field. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina hailed the initiatives taken by the regional powers to discuss on various health issues and said her government will give all its inputs. Sep 10, 2014
