India to discuss black money issue at G20 Summit

New Delhi, Nov 07 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi to raise the issue of black money besides discussing the energy, security and IMF among others at the G20 Leaders' Summit in Brisbane next week. The G20 Leaders' Summit is scheduled to kick off on November 15-16 in Brisbane, Australia. Sherpa of the prime minister for the G20 summit, Suresh Prabhu told mediapersons in New Delhi about India's agenda during the summit. Prabhu said to deal with the issue of tax evaders and black money it would be interesting to have discussion on automatic exchange of information among the countries. G20 countries have committed to present policy measures at the Brisbane summit that will lift global growth by an additional 2 percent over five years. Prabhu said there should be more transparency in the global energy mix and it should include renewable and clean energy. Prabhu also said India would raise the issue of reforming the International Monetary Fund (IMF) at Brisbane summit. Prabhu added that during the summit India would also talk on infrastructure, employment generation, changing the cost of remittances and environment and climate change. Pakistan rejects India's conditions on dialogue process

Islamabad, Nov 07 (ANI): Pakistan rejected Indian Defence Minister's tough stance on dialogue, saying it does not accept conditions on composite dialogue with the arch rival. Answering a question about Arun Jaitley's statement that Pakistan had to decide whether they want to be in talks with the Indian government or the separatists, foreign ministry spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said dialogue with India is not a favour, but a necessity for peace and development in South Asia. A day earlier, Jaitley had drawn a "red line" and said Pakistan had to reconsider whether it wanted to speak to the Government of India or "to those who want to break India." Aslam said All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leaders were not separatists, but freedom fighters who are carrying out their movement from an occupied territory. Nov 7, 2014

Naidu also attended the World Economic Summit in New Delhi and met the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Naidu said his government was confident of building the state's industrial fortunes again and added that not just IT, but also electronic hardware manufacturing, automobile, agro-processing, and pharma will be set soon. Shimla, Nov 07 (ANI): Villagers in Himachal Pradesh organised a fair to promote traditional archery sport, 'Thoda'. The fair, which was held at Raggyan village, over 20 kilometres from Shimla city, aimed at preserving the traditional sport. Many young archers were seen playing the sport during the fair and urged more and more youth to preserve this heritage. On the beats of traditional drums, people aim at each other with bow and arrow on legs. A traditional dance is also performed during the fair. Villagers believe that this sport was played for the deities. The elders are now training young people for this sport to preserve and promote it for ages to come. This fair is a blend of religious belief and love for century-old 'Thoda' sport. Locals believe that organising such kind of fairs is a symbol of prosperity. Nov 7, 2014
