It's been close to two weeks since Microsoft officially purged Nokia branding from its smartphone division, now the American software major is all set to launch the first Nokia-less Lumia handset next week.
The company has released a teaser poster with time-stamp- "11.11.2014" on the official blog site. It says- "WANT TO SEE #MORELUMIA?"- "Come back on November 11, to find out more!", hinting the impending launch of first Microsoft Lumia smartphone.
In the image, we see an Orange hued smartphone with a front-camera on top-right corner. Though this does not reveal much, many believe this device may turn out to be a selfie-centric smartphone.
Nokia has already built the industry's best-camera phone Lumia 1020 (with 41.0-megapixel), now time looks prime for Microsoft to take this forward by introducing the flagship selfie-camera phone, which is currently a fad among selfie tech-savvy youth.
However, this speculation has to be kept on the back-burner, as the sources with the knowledge of Microsoft's plans have revealed to The Verge, that the company is likely to launch a budget handset next week, not a high-end flagship smartphone as previously rumoured.
As per the latest reports, Microsoft's upcoming device is tipped to be Lumia 535, a successor to Lumia 530, which was launched in late July this year.
