Specifications of the soon-to-be launched LG G4 have surfaced online ahead of the official launch on 28 April.
The company's official LG G4 micro-site accidentally (or intentionally?) went live for a few hours revealing key specifications of the upcoming marquee device.
Popular Twitter spy Evan Blass (@evleaks) spotted the website, and within hours, the word the spread to all corners of the Internet. Once it hit the headlines, the company pulled the webpage off the Internet. But, some blogs had already taken the screen-shot of the page.
In the entry (courtesy, 9to5 Google), LG G4 is said to sport 5.5-inch QHD (2,560x1,440p) screen with Quantum Display technology and under the hood, it packs 3,000mAh battery and a feature-rich snapper on the rear-side world's first smartphone to feature camera with f/1.8 aperture, shutter speed option, slow synch flash option, lens brightness options, ISO, white balance (WB), RAW or JPEG, exposure (EV), three shooting modes, (Manual, Normal and Simple), fast auto-focus feature and OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) v2.0.
It also confirms that LG G4 will be made available in metallic gray, ceramic white, shiny gold and genuine leather (with exquisite threaded stitch) options.
Other details such as RAM, storage capacity, SoC (System on Chip) are yet to be ascertained. However, we don't need to wait long as LG has announced that it will be distributing 4,000 units, as a part of 'Consumer Experience Compaign' to loyal fans in 14 regions including in India, a few days prior to the device's launch on 28 April to get feedbacks. We will update more details on LG G4 as it develops.

Word on the street is that that the LG G4 will house Snapdragon 808 series Hexa-Core SoC (System on Chip) with Adreno 418 graphics engine, not the top-of-the-line 810 series Octa-core processor seen in the company's flagship phablet G Flex 2.

In January, when reports of Samsung ditching Snapdragon 810 for heating issues hit headlines in the media, company's vice president, Woo Ram-chan, had claimed that G Flex 2 which houses the same Qualcomm chipset faced no problems during the tests conducted by the company. After the reassurance from the company, many believed, LG to incorporate the same processor in G4 too.

Now if the LG G4 spotted on the GFX benchmarking site is to be believed, the recurrence of heating issue in 810 might have forced the company to use more stable 808 chipset.
