Mumbai-based technology firm iBall has announced a new budget smartphone called Andi 4D+ in India.
The all new Andi 4Di+ phone, pegged as a successor of Andi 4Di, sports a 4.0-inch WVGA (480x800p) display with IPS technology for wide-angle view. It runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS, out-of-the-box.
Inside, Andi 4Di+ houses 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB (expandable up to 32GB) and a 1700mAh battery. The phone also packs a 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) secondary front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, it supports 3G network connectivity, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), Bluetooth with A2DP and EDGE/GPRS.
The company has priced Andi 4Di+ for ₹6,399. But iBall is yet reveal the availability details of the new phone in the market.
Last week, the company had launched a similar budget phone called Andi 4.5z with pretty much the same internal hardware sans the display size. It flaunts a 4.5-inch WVGA display and boasts of a dual-core CPU, 512MB RAM, 4GB inbuilt memory and an 8.0-megapixel main camera. It is available on e-Bay for ₹7,499.
