Indian technology company iBall has released another Android smartphone called Andi 4Di for ₹5,999 into the burgeoning domestic handset market.
iBall Andi 4Di sports 4.0-inch WVGA capacitive screen with 480x800p display resolutions and like any other low-cost smartphone, it runs on old Android mobile OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with 512MB RAM and 512MB inbuilt memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
Under the hood, it packs 1GHz Cortex A9 processor powered by 1700 mAh battery and the new iBall handset houses 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash support and on the front side, it flaunts a VGA camera for video calling. Connectivity wise, it boasts Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), Bluetooth with A2DP and navigation based EDGE/GPRS and A-GPS features.
Considering its price and features, iBall Andi 4Di will face competition from Samsung Galaxy Music Duos, Lava Iris 405, Xolo A500 and Micromax Canvas Viva which all fall in the same budget Android handset class.
