Indian technology firm iBall has expanded its budget smartphone portfolio with the release of Andi 4.5z in the country.
The new iBall smartphone sports a 4.5-inch IPS qHD display with 960x540p resolution and runs on the Android v4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
Under-the-hood, it houses a 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB memory (expansion up to 32GB) and a 1700 mAh battery.
Other specifications include an 8.0-megapix main camera with LED flash, secondary camera on the front, 3G network support, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), Bluetooth v4.0, A-GPS and EDGE/GPRS.
Andi4.5z is currently listed on the company's official website for ₹8,299, but the same device is available for a much cheaper price of ₹7,499 at online shop eBay. The e-retailer giant is also the exclusive seller of world's first Firefox OS powered smartphone ZTE Open which carries a price tag of ₹6,990.
The all new iBall Andi4.5z will be up against local players like Micromax Canvas Viva, Karbonn Smart A26 and MNC brands like Samsung Galaxy Young, Sony Xperia E, Huawei Y300, Nokia Lumia 520, and Asha budget series handsets.
