Chinese technology giant Huawei has released a new smartphone, dubbed Honor 3X, in India, via online stores.
The new Honor 3X is a mid-range big-screen smartphone (aka phablet), which flaunts a mammoth 5.5-inch HD (720x1280p) IPS display with ClearMotion technology and ships with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, it houses a 1.7GHz Octa-core processor (MediaTek), 2GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage, a 13.0-megapixel Sony camera (with BSI sensor, Blue Wave filter glass and LED flash), a 5.0-megapixel camera on the front for video chatting, and a high-capacity 3000mAh battery to satiate the power-guzzling large screen.
The phone also sports Huawei's power-saving technology and auto power control, with which the device can be used for 1.6 days under normal usage, according to the company. On the connectivity front, it boasts 3G network support, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n).
Huawei Honor 3X has been made available at Flipkart for a subsidised price of ₹21,399 (MRP: ₹24,999).
Earlier in the week (9 June), the company released mid-range 4.5-inch handset Ascend G for ₹16,999. It features qHD (960x540p) display and ships with Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS (with custom Emotion v2.0 Lite UI), powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU with sumptuous 1GB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB.
