Bengaluru-based technology company Karbonn Mobiles announced three new Titanium series smartphones - Hexa, Octane and Octane Plus - today.
First up is Titanium Hexa; it is the first local smartphone to boast six-core based CPU and runs on the latest Android OS v4.4 KitKat. The device houses a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) screen, 2GB RAM, 13.0-megapixel main camera, 5.0-megapixel front camera and standard connectivity features like Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS for navigation.
Titanium Octane and Octane Plus, on the other hand, are 8-core processor based smartphones. They also run Android KitKat OS, powered by the same MediaTek-based MT6592 chipset, which can clock up to 1.7GHz CPU speed. The devices are backed by 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and a 2000 mAh battery.
The only difference between the two devices is that Octane flaunts a 5.0-inch HD720p display, whereas the 'Plus' variant boasts a full HD screen.
According to reports, Karbonn Titanium Hexa, Titanium Octane and Octane Plus are priced ₹16,990, ₹14,490 and ₹17,990 respectively and are set to be released to the market in April last week.
