Indigenous smartphone maker Xolo has officially announced the launch of its latest smartphone in the Q series dubbed Q1200 with a price tag of ₹13,999.
The new handset, which was seen, listed earlier on the e-retailers' website will be available in the market for purchase from 10 June. Announcing the smartphone through the Facebook handle of the company, Xolo said "Introducing XOLO Q1200, a smartphone packed with a bundle of smart features to make life simpler. Pick yours now!". It also added that the pre-order window of smartphone is open and the bookings can be done through the online retailers Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon.
Coming to the features offered in the smartphone, Xolo's Q1200 sports 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor. Xolo Q1200 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box OS (upgradable to v4.4) and packs 8.0-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor R sensor and LED flash along with 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera.
It offers 8GB internal memory with expandable option up to 32GB and comes loaded with Li-Ion 2,000 mAh battery. The battery promises up to 15 hours of talk time and up to 418 hours under standby mode. Xolo Q1200 offers features like gesture control, double tap to unlock, dual window and cold access apps and supports connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi , GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.
Earlier last week, Xolo launched its Q600, a Dual SIM smartphone in India. It comes with 4.5-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixel) capacitive touchscreen and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It is offered with Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS and 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 64GB with microSD card. Coming to the imaging capability, the handset houses 5.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
On the connectivity front, it supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. It measures 136.5 x 68.7.9 mm and weighs 115 grams and comes with 2,000 mAh battery.
