Indigenous smartphone maker Xolo launched a new budget Android KitKat smartphone Q600s in the lucrative Indian market at an introductive price of ₹7,499.
The handset which had appeared on the e-retailer website earlier last week has now been launched officially and is available for purchase through Snapdeal. As per the listings of the online retailer, the smartphone will be shipped within two business days.
Xolo Q600s, is a Dual SIM smartphone with 4.5-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) capacitive touchscreen. The handset comes with 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 64 GB with microSD card. The smartphone will be shipped with Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS and will be available in White colour.
On the camera front, the handset houses 5.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity, Xolo's new budget smartphone support 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS and comes loaded with 2,000 mAh battery, which claims to deliver up to 449 hours under standby mode on 2G, 24 hours of talktime on 2G and upto 11 hours of talktime on 3G network. It measures 136.5 x 68.7.9 mm and weighs 115 grams.
Last week, Xolo's Q1200 was also spotted online, however the handset is not official yet. The smartphone sports 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. Xolo Q1200 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box OS (upgradable to v4.4) and packs 8.0-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor R sensor and LED flash along with 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera. It offers 8 GB internal memory with expandable option up to 32 GB and comes loaded with Li-Ion 2,000 mAh battery.
Recently, the company also launched a budget Android smartphone A500s Lite with a price tag of ₹5,499. It sports 4 inch WVGA IPS display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution and is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor along with Mali-400 MP GPU and 512MB of RAM. The smartphone houses 3.0-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera. On the connectivity front, it supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS and comes with 1,400 mAh battery. The phone supports 10 Indian languages.
The handset comes bundled with faux leather finish back panel and packs 4GB of internal memory, which can be expanded upto 32 GB with microSD card.
