Xiaomi is all geared up for the Redmi 1S Flipkart flash sale on 25 November, which many believe would be its last in India, considering the launch of Redmi Note on Monday.
Just hours ago, Xiaomi officially announced that the much-awaited budget phablet Redmi Note will go on sale on 2 December at Flipkart in India.
However, the company has refrained from revealing whether Redmi 1S sale will continue alongside Redmi Note next Tuesday (2 December), leaving many fans in a quandary.
IBTimes India is awaiting a response from Xiaomi for an official confirmation, which will be updated soon.
[Update: Xiaomi has confirmed via Facebook that there will be 65,000 units up for grabs on 25 November sale, but still no word on whether this will be the last Redmi 1S flash sale or not]
On Monday, besides 3G Redmi Note, Xiaomi also launched a 4G variant. The company has joined hands with the homegrown network carrier Airtel to release 4G-based Redmi Note in select cities (around 15) across India for ₹9,999. It will be sold little later in December.
The 4G Redmi Note boasts of 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 series quad-core, Adreno 305 graphics engine, Android 4.4 KitKat OS with MIUI v5.0 and everything else is pretty much similar to the 3G version.

Now back to Xiaomi's 25 November flash sale. The registration window will be open till 23:59 pm on Monday (24 November) at Flipkart. Even those registered users who missed out on buying the Xiaomi phone on 18 November will need to re-apply.
As a goodwill gesture, the company has also announced free screen-guard and micro-SIM card adaptor for tomorrow's flash sale.
