Apple iPhone 5 - First Impressions

Is the iPhone 5 a good phone? We are asked, often. The answer is YES. Is it worth Rs. 45,000? We are asked, as a follow-up question. The answer is not as black or white. It is an excellent evolution of what was already a brilliant phone. To start with, the slimmer yet taller form factor is very much usable. The higher res and slightly bigger display makes it a lot more comfortable to use. The additional grunt is very much visible. Camera has also taken a step forward. The bad points are there as well ___ the OS looks dated, and it is very pricey. Nov 27, 2012

Canon EOS 5D Mark III [Hands-On Video]

The 5D Mark III is the long awaited successor to the 5D Mark II. Though it comes with only a slight bump in the pixel count, but 5D Mark III has received some serious augmentation of features, be it the 61-point AF straight out of the Canon 1Dx or the 6 frames per second burst mode. Nov 26, 2012

HTC Desire C - Video Review

Today we have with us the HTC Desire C. The device is yet another budget phone that is targeted at the Rs. 15,000 price bracket. Is it a device with a difference or will it crash and burn? Bottom Line: Overall, it's safe to say that the performance of the device is a mixed bag. The power under the hood is underwhelming but its reflection on the everyday performance of the device isn't visible. If you are looking for better power under the hood, you can take a look at the Spice Stellar. If the OS isn't a big deal, you can take a look at the Nokia Lumia 710 or the Samsung Omnia W. But if you want to make a style statement with a good looking device that is an average performer, the HTC Desire C is the one for you. Nov 15, 2012
