Sachin Tendulkar supports children cardiac awareness

Mumbai, Jan 22 (ANI): Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar supported a noble cause of cardiac awareness in children and donated Rs 10,00,000 to initiate preventive measures across India. A Mumbai-based Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children initiated the awareness drive for the prevention of cardiac diseases in infants and toddlers. Tendulkar said that he was moved by story of a girl who could not take necessary treatment due to lack of funds. In order to raise awareness about cardiac problems in children, a marathon will be held in Mumbai on February 09 from the iconic Siddhivinayak Temple in the city and will end at the hospital location.
