Moong Dal payasam Ingredients Moong Dal - 100 gm Jaggery - 100 gm Condensed Milk - 1 cup Fresh grated Coconut - 1 cup Ghee - 1 tsp A few Cardamom pods Method: 1. Slightly roast the Moong dal for about 2 minutes. 2. Now rinse the moong dal, add water and let it boil. 3. Another side, melt jaggery but adding some water to it, 4. After the moong dal is cooked, add melted jaggery, cardamon powder, ghee, Condensed Milk & mix it. 5. Finally add fresh grated coconut in it. 6. Your Moong Dal payasam is all ready to be served. Garnish it with few strands of Saffron. You can either serve it hot or cold. Minced meat Egg Kofta

Minced meat Egg Kofta Ingredients Minced meat - 250 gm Onion - 1 finely chopped Ghee - 1 tsp Cinnamon Clove Green chilli - 1 chopped Ginger & garlic paste - 1 tsp Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Salt to taste Chana dal - 1 tbsp Boiled Eggs Boiled potato -3 Mint leaves Coriander leaves Egg - 1 Oil for frying Method: 1. In a pressure cooker add Ghee, Cinnamon, Clove, Onion, Green chill & saute it. Once onion turns transparent add Ginger & garlic paste, Minced meat. 2. Chana dal soaked for an 2 hours, add to the meat & mix it. Add Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Salt & mix all the ingredients well. 3. Add enough water to just cover the meat & Cook it on medium low. 4. After 5 to 6 whistles, check meat is cooked, If there is any excess water keep the lip open & cook it till the water evaporates. And then, Cool the mixture & remove all spices. 5. Next Step to the meat mixture add Mashed Potato, Mint leaves, Coriander leaves & mix it well. 6. Break the egg into a separate bowl and beat it. 7. Make small patties out of the mixture, place the half of the egg on the patty. Cover up the egg piece by adding some more mixture on the top. 8. Dip this patty into the beaten egg and deep fry it.
