Consumer electronics giant Samsung has released the company's newly unveiled Galaxy Tab4 series slates in India.
Galaxy Tab4 devices made their global debut in April. All slates come packed with pretty much the same specifications, sans the size and battery capacity. They sport WXGA LCD screen with 1280x800p resolution and ship with Android's latest v4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, Galaxy Tab4 devices house 1.5GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 64GB), a 3.0-megapixel primary camera and a 1.3-megapixel snapper on the front.
The company has listed Galaxy Tab4 series (3G +Voice calling variants) - 10.1-inch (T351) and the 8.0-inch (T331) models for ₹30,498 and ₹23,960 respectively at the official India eStore. However, the price and availability details of the smaller 7.0-inch model is yet to be ascertained.
In related news, Samsung is all set to unveil the top-end Galaxy series tablet PCs next week at New York City. The company is expected to launch Galaxy Tablet S with fingerprint sensor, a first of its kind.
According to multiple reports, Galaxy Tab S devices are expected to flaunt energy-efficient super AMOLED screen with a staggering 2560x1600p display resolution and ship with Android's latest KitKat OS, powered by the company's in-house built Exynos 5420 series Octa-core processor.
