Barely a week after Samsung announced the new Galaxy Grand 2, a report has surfaced that the company is prepping to launch another mid-range phone soon.
The mystery phone is reported to be the Galaxy S Duos 2 (GT-S7582), a successor to the 2012-model Galaxy S Duos. Hungarian based website Tech2 has revealed a snapshot of the upcoming phone and reported that the new device will only see an average bump in specifications in terms of chipset and RAM capacity. Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 is expected to come with a 4.0-inch WVGA (480x800p) display and run on v4.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 768MB RAM. Other stipulated featured include a 5.0-megapixel main camera and a 1500 mAh battery.
Add weight to the rumour, Mumbai-based smartphone vendor Mahesh Telecom (Manish Khatri) has claimed that the shipments of the unannounced Galaxy S Duos 2 units are expected to hit Indian stores in a few days time and will go on sale for ₹11,230 with a special offer of ₹10,990.

Recently unveiled 5.25 -inch Samsung phablet, Galaxy Grand 2 with quad-core processor is also slated to hit the Indian market soon.
So far, neither Samsung India nor the parent company has responded to the reports. Until then, these rumours will remain as speculation only.
