Japan eyes India and ASEAN market for business expansion

Tokyo, Jan 6 (ANI): For safe and smooth public transportation, a signaling system plays a major role. Japan's Kyosan Electric Manufacturing Corporation has a hundred year of history of developing road traffic and railway signal systems, besides power conversion systems. The company first introduced traffic signal technology based on the union switch and signals in 1920s, and started domestic manufacturing by brushing up its technology. Kyosan produced the first traffic signal system in Japan in 1956. With a top domestic share in the signal system, Kyosan have expanded its operations in more than 10 countries overseas. Its president, Tsutomu Tokodai, says the company has achieved the reputation of having the world's most safe traffic system. New Delhi, Jan 06 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday met the Election Commission over fake votes in Delhi prior to the Assembly elections in the state. Kejriwal said that a huge number of fake votes have been made in Delhi prior to elections, from Delhi as well as other states like Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. He added that he has filed a complaint with the Election Commission in the matter along with some verified samples. India lauds Bangladesh security forces for acting against militants

Agartala, Jan 06 (ANI): A top police official in Tripura lauded the efforts of Bangladesh security forces in cracking down on militants operating in the country's northeastern region. Most of the rebels battling Indian security forces in the northeast have set up bases in neighbouring Bangladesh. Director General of Police (DGP) of Tripura, K Nagraj, said the state succeeded in neutralising several militant outfits due to cooperation from Bangladesh. Nagraj said Bangladeshi security forces have destroyed several camps of the banned National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) and seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition. New Delhi, Jan 6 (ANI): Health of most adults who are considered "healthy obese" declines overtime, claims a new study.According to a study "healthy" obesity is a misleading concept and health obesity is defined as obesity with no metabolic risk factors.Core assumption of healthy obesity has been that it is stable over time, but they have now found that healthy obese adults tend to become unhealthy obese in the long-term, with about half making this transition over 20 years. Healthy obese adults were also much more likely to become unhealthy obese than healthy or unhealthy non-obese adults, indicating that healthy obesity is a high-risk state with serious implications for disease risk. Congress and BJP react as Delhi Police says Sunanda Pushkar was murdered

New Delhi, Jan 06 (ANI): Congress and BJP on Tuesday react as Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi confirmed that Sunanda Pushkar was murdered. A case of murder under Section 302 of IPC has been registered against unknown people. Bassi said that it is not a case of natural death and that medical report states that she was poisoned. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that the police should carry on a fair investigation in the case and also questioned on such a delay in filing the FIR in the case. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that there is nothing to politicize the issue and said that Delhi police will see that the accused are brought to book. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy also welcomed the finding and said that Congress leader and Pushkar's husband Shashi Tharoor will be brought to book even as he alleged that Tharoor was involved in the murder.
