Chilli Potato

Chilli Potato Ingredients Potato - 4 cut into slices A few Garlic cloves finely chopped Spring onions - 1 bunch (cut onion & stock separately) Ginger & garlic paste - 1/2 tsp Tomato ketchup - 2 tbsp Chilli sauce - 1 tbsp Soy sauce - 1 tbsp Sugar - 1/2 tsp Pepper - 1/2 tsp Chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp Salt to taste Oil for frying Method: 1. Wash the potato cut them dry, there should be no moisture on the slices. 2. First step is to deep fry the potatoes. 3. Next step is to make a sauce, in a wide pan add oil, spring onions, garlic and sauté it till it turns brown colour. 4. Add half of the spring onion stock and remaining stock add it later. 5. Now add ginger & garlic paste, salt, pepper, chilli flakes and a quick stir. Add all the sauces soy sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and mix it. Finally add sugar, now the sauce is ready. 6. Add the fried potatoes to the sauce and mix it on the low flame. Make sure all the pieces coated well with sauce. 7.Finally add the remaining spring onion stock and mix it. New Delhi, Jan 20 (ANI):Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 522.66 points up to stand at 28,784.67. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 144.90 points up to stand at 8,695.60. GDL and PRESTIGE were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 9.96% and 7.05% along with ABAN and HDFC with an increase of 6.29% and 5.63% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include PMCFIN and RAJESH EXPORTS with a decrease of 4.96% and 4.43% along with MINDTREE LTD and MAHINDRA and MAHINDRA FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD. with a decrease of 4.17% and 3.80% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 136.84 points at 19,658.28 while the banking sector is up 409.99 points at 22,633.4 and the reality sector is up 19.49 points at 1,643.38. India has 70 percent of world's tigers as per latest census: Javadekar

New Delhi, Jan 20 (ANI): India is home to 70 percent of the world's tigers as per latest 2014 census, said Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday (January 20). Tigers have long been bordering extinction as they face the dangers of poaching, killings and habitat loss despite government conservation efforts. The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) says that the world has lost 97 percent of its tiger population in over a century. India has been struggling to keep its tiger population intact being one of the few countries where the species is found. Javadekar added that building new tiger reserves was on the government's agenda. He also said that though man-animal conflict had reduced, the government would be active in reducing the risks further. He also applauded the efforts of forest guards and environment enthusiasts and activists in helping preserve tigers. Jan 20, 2015
