Soha Ali Khan ties knot with Kunal Khemu

Mumbai, Jan 26 (ANI): Actress Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu exchanged vows on Sunday in a private ceremony at their Khar residence in Mumbai. The wedding took place in presence of a registrar and family members - Soha's elder brother Saif Ali Khan, sister in law Kareena Kapoor, sister Saba and mother Sharmila Tagore. Soha looked beautiful in an off-white lehenga-choli set paired with an orange dupatta while Khemu wore a white-gold sherwani and a silk safa. Soha' sister-in-law and superstar Kareena looked stunning in a powder pink Manish Malhotra sari while Saif looked Royal in his white achkan and pink pagdhi. Soha posted a picture of herself and the groom on Twitter, saying that, 'I married my best friend today'. Kunal Khemu also took to twitter to express his happiness and tweeted "A very big thank you to all of you for all the love and blessings. It's Official now!!" The 17th annual vintage car rally drew spectators to Jaipur to get a glimpse of royal era. More than 100 vintage pieces were displayed for the car lovers. Meanwhile, crowds also attended a similar rally in Vadodara city, where around 56 vintage cars were on display. The rally was a part of four-day 'Vadfest', an art and cultural event in the city. State governors and dignitaries mark 66th Republic Day in India

Bhopal/ Hyderabad/Raipur/ Vishakhapatnam/ Lucknow, Jan 26 (ANI): Indian states on Monday observed 66th Republic Day. Madhya Pradesh witnessed the parade by the police force as the state governor Ram Naresh Yadav saluted the force and greeted them on the Republic day. Uttar Pradesh being the largest Indian state witnessed various tableaux showcasing the culture and rich heritage and also the parade by the police personnel along with flypast. Meanwhile, a ceremonial parade was also held at the Eastern Naval Command parade ground in Vishakhapatnam. Vice Admiral Satish Soni, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, took the salute. Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan also addressed the state on the occasion and saluted the police force. Chhattisgarh Governor Balram Das Tandon also saluted the parade and hoisted the national flag in Raipur. Republic Day honours the date on which the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India. Twelve dead after train collides with van in Haryana

Hisar, Jan 26 (ANI): Twelve people of the same family died and three got injured on Monday after their vehicle collided with a train at an unmanned crossing in Haryana. The vehicle, Tata Ace, was carrying 15 people when it collided with a passenger train in Barwala district of Hisar. The dead bodies have been sent to a hospital for postmortem and the three injured are also admitted in the same. Police reached the spot to inspect the accident as soon as it was informed. All roads and market places were deserted as very few people dared to come out in open. Residents said they were scared of stepping out of their houses. In another Maoist stronghold Palamu district, there was a curfew-like situation with very few vehicles on roads. Transport services were hit in the district as people were stranded at railway and bus stations.The Maoists have also decided to observe January 26 as a Black Day in protest.
