Patna, Feb 08 (ANI): JD (U) and RJD leaders on Sunday met Bihar governor Keshari Nath Tripathi over political crisis facing the state today. The parties appealed the governor to sack Jitan Ram Manjhi as he lacks majority and appoint Nitish Kumar as the new chief minister. Bihar JD (U) President Bashishtha Narayan Singh sai dtaht Manjhi is doing all this on order of BJP. Meanwhile, RJD leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui, who also met state governor, said that the party asked the governor to dissolve the assembly as soon as possible. Feb 8, 2015

Imphal: Three BSF jawans injured in twin IED blasts

Imphal, Feb 08 (ANI): Three Border Security Force (BSF) jawans including one Sub-Inspector and two constables were injured in twin IED blasts that took place at Napetpali village in Imphal. The injured were rushed to the RIMS Emergency Service for medical aid. After the explosion, the security forces, BSF, Assam Rifles and State Police Commando team investigated the locality and nabbed six suspected youths from the area for further verification. Mumbai, Feb 8 (ANI): Hundreds of children took part in a fund-raising marathon in Mumbai on Sunday spread awareness about cardiac diseases. ‘Little Hearts Marathon’ is an initiative of ‘Bai Jerabai Wadia Hospital for Children’ in Mumbai to raise funds for poor children unable to meet the exorbitant hospital expenses. The second edition of the three-kilometer marathon drew several known personalities, including the head of youth wing of regional political party, Yuva Sena, Aditya Thackeray, Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade and businessman Ness Wadia.
