Nokia, now a subsidiary of Microsoft on Monday (12 May) officially launched the company's first ever dual-SIM Windows Phone OS powered smartphone, Lumia 630 in India.
Unlike mid-range smartphones Lumia 620 and 625, the new Lumia 630, is a budget handset. It sports 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480p) ClearBlack LCD screen with pixel density of 221 ppi (pixels per inch) and ships with 512MB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory, 5.0-megapixel primary camera (no front camera), and a 1850 mAh battery.
Features worth notable include the dual-SIM slots, latest Windows Phone OS v8.1, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, time-tested polycarbonate body with swappable multiple coloured back-cover options. Software features include Office apps - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive storage (Cloud service) for documents and note as well as navigation apps such as HERE Maps, Drive and Transit.
The new Nokia Lumia 630 is said to be made available to the market from 14 May for prices ₹10,500 and ₹11,500 for single-SIM and Dual-SIM models respectively. It will be competing with the newly launched Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 and also the upcoming Motorola Android phone Moto E which fall under the same price range.
