After making an appearance on the company's official website last weekend, Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 has been released to the Indian market via online stores.
Canvas Elanza 2 is the successor of Elanza A93, which was launched in February this year. It comes with lot of upgrades in terms of specifications such as display, CPU, camera and more. The new phone sports a 5.0-inch HD (1280x720p) TFT screen, Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core CPU and 2000 mAh battery which can power the phone for close to 240 hours under standby mode.
The feature-rich budget Micromax phone priced just under ₹10,000 also boasts of 8.0-megapixel camera (with flash and auto-focus), 2.0-megapixel front camera for video-chat and packs standard connectivity features like 3G network support, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS for navigation.
As of now, Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 A121 has been made available at online stores- eBay and Infibeam for ₹9,999 and ₹9,340 respectively. It will be mainly competing with Motorola Moto G (also the upcoming Moto E), Nokia Lumia 525, Karbonn Titanium S5 Plus, Panasonic T21 and Xolo Q1000 Opus which recently got updated with Android KitKat OS.
