Finnish handset maker Nokia has slashed prices of the Lumia 620, the second cheapest Windows Phone 8 based smartphone, just ahead of popular Indian festival Holi.
Earlier when the smartphone Lumia 620 was launched, its price was listed around ₹15,199 on different online and local retail stores.
Now, popular e-retailer Flipkart is offering Lumia 620 for ₹14,499, whereas rival Saholic has listed it for ₹14,299.
Nokia Lumia 620 runs on the latest 'Windows Phone 8' mobile OS and packs a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1GHz CPU speed. It has 512MB RAM and 8GB internal memory. It also supports NFC (Near Field Communications) making it one of the very few handful smartphone in the market to offer these specs at a sub ₹14,500 price.
Another striking feature of Lumia 620 is that it comes with wide array of colours like Black, Magneta, Yellow, Blue, Green and White with options of dual-colour back-panels. Also, its curved edge design and small size makes it comfortable to hold.
With a price tag of sub ₹14,500 and colourful peppy design, Lumia 620 is sure to attract the youth looking for an ideal mid-range smartphone.
A few days ago, Nokia had introduced the cheapest Windows Phone 8 smartphone, Lumia 520, for ₹10,499. It is listed on Flipkart but yet to go for sale.
